Zin Myo Oo (Arakkha Zin Myo) was born on 18 July 1989 and is a key figure in human rights and social development activities.
Government-related Activities
- In 2014, he founded the Arakan Generation Youth Organization (AGYO) and led initiatives to provide legal protection for migrant workers, prevent human trafficking, and support labor rights.
- In 2015, severe floods destroyed over 10,000 houses, killed more than 60 people, and damaged over 300 schools, 150 monasteries, and other buildings. That year, as the leader of AGYO, Arakkha Zin Myo personally carried out humanitarian relief efforts in cooperation with Rakhine community organizations in Thailand.
In April 2017, during the Rakhine Muslim crisis, he also went to Maungdaw, one of the most severely affected areas, and provided humanitarian assistance to Rakhine people who had suffered at the hands of armed Muslim militants.
Technology and Media Work
- In 2013, he launched the “Arakan Language Program” on MAP Radio FM 102.50 MHz, presenting news and social programs.
- In 2016, he also hosted a labor news program for migrant workers in Thailand.
- Although AGYO was suspended in 2019, he has continued his human rights activism.
- Since 2020, he has been hosting television programs on Arakkha Media and AK TV, promoting Rakhine singers and exposing human rights violations committed by both the military junta and the NUG government.
Social and Donation Activities
- Through platforms such as AR TV Music, Arakan Celebrity, Rakhine Music Request Program, AK TV, AAL Media, and Arakkha Music, he continues to promote Rakhine singers.
- He organizes donations for war-displaced people, shares updates about their conditions, and connects donors with responsible parties.

- Arakkha Media (AK TV) operates independently without the support of any organization, relying on self-effort and public backing.
- The main challenge is the lack of budget, yet activities for human rights and the welfare of the Rakhine people continue.
