It is with profound sorrow that the “Saetanar” Arakkha Public Benevolent Clinic announces the passing of its volunteer, Ko Win Bu (or) Ko Win Maung Thein, aged 43, who had been serving as a volunteer at the Clinic since 24 April 2025.
On the evening of 1 June 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m., he passed away as a result of a traffic accident involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle. The entire family of the “Saetanar” Arakkha Public Benevolent Clinic is deeply saddened by this tragic loss.
During his time as a volunteer, Ko Win Bu faithfully carried out his duties with dedication, perseverance, and compassion. He consistently provided care and support to patients with kindness and sincerity, while discharging his responsibilities with a strong sense of commitment. In addition, he actively and selflessly contributed to assisting internally displaced persons (IDPs), always demonstrating enthusiasm and concern for the welfare of others.
His honesty, integrity, generosity, and unwavering humanitarian spirit, as well as his contributions to the welfare of the public and society, will be remembered not only by members of the Clinic but also by displaced communities, local residents, and donors both at home and abroad. His good deeds and selfless service will remain a lasting source of respect and remembrance.
His passing is an irreplaceable loss not only to the Clinic but also to his family members, relatives, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
The “Saetanar” Arakkha Public Benevolent Clinic extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and shares in their grief. On behalf of the Clinic’s members and the people of Arakkha, we pray that the merits accumulated through the good deeds of Ko Win Bu (Ko Win Maung Thein) may guide him to a peaceful and blessed abode.
