The Kankaw Myay Philanthropic Association, based in Malaysia, has donated MMK 5,100,000 (five million one hundred thousand kyats) to support internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Kyaukphyu Township, Arakan State.
The donation was formally handed over to the R Gree Public Philanthropic Association, which has officially acknowledged receipt of the contribution.
The Kankaw Myay Association expressed its appreciation to all members and donors, offering prayers for their long life, good health, and success in their work and endeavors.
Currently, IDPs in Kyaukphyu Township are facing urgent needs for food supplies, shelter, and safe housing due to the ongoing monsoon season.
