Due to ongoing armed conflict in Arakan, many civilians have been forced to flee their homes. Among them, there are a large number of elderly people who have no children, no jobs, and live alone without support.
“To support those elderly refugees, a philanthropic group based in Malaysia donated 1,440,000 MMK to the R-Gree Public Welfare Organization.”
The donation was received and facilitated on behalf of the organization by the Rakhine Nationalist Youth Foundation.
